I’ve lived by silver-linings my entire life, so this was just another pivot point in our journey. We won’t just disappear from the hobby and community we’ve grown with. Lex will still work with her snakes…but now we can also provide you with nothing but the best herpetoculture apparel & creations you’ve ever seen! Along with staying up with podcast interviews, developmental practices, and community support, I’ll continue to offer my talents to you. Support David Pineda During Heart Transplant and Recovery
David Pineda (Bubba) is fighting for his life after being diagnosed with desminopathy, a rare genetic disorder that severely weakens the heart and muscles. Though he’s battled unexplained fainting and muscle loss for years, his condition worsened dramatically this year, leading to life-threatening heart failure. He’s now in the ICU, kept alive by a balloon pump doing the work his failing heart no longer can, and has been urgently listed for a heart transplant.
After facing a risky transplant, he faces a long first year of recovery—including months of intensive care—during which he won’t be able to work, placing a huge financial strain on him and his loved ones. We’re raising funds to help cover his medical and living expenses so he can focus on healing and getting a second chance at life. Any support means the world—thank you!
